Osvaldo VILLARREAL Manzanilla

Birthdate: 4 November 1977

Birthplace: Caracas, Venezuela

BIOGRAPHY: Adventurer, poet, scientist, friend, student... Osvaldo is struggling to become an established researcher in Venezuela. He has strong bounds with Brazil, especially with the National Museum in Rio where he spent some time between 2004 and 2016.

Spent some time in the Andes, but also lived in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where he did his Ph. D. thesis with a systematic review of Cranaidae. He focuses his research on Cranaidae, Nomoclastidae and Stygnidae.

DISCLAIMER — This resource was first intended as for private use of the members of the arachnology lab of Museu Nacional, but later we thought "why not to share this with the world?". Eventually if greedy lawyers (redundance...) start to bother us with copyright matters, etc, we may have to be forced to quit the project and keep this just to ourselves.

Note: As Osvaldo has a diverse simultaneous output with both Opiliones and other arachnids, they are listed together in the following table. The word Opiliones is higlighted where appropriate.
