Birthplace: Nagysalló, Southern Slovakia (then Hungary) Died: 5 February 1971 BIOGRAPHY: A very important figure in Hungarian Zoology. Studied Natural History at the University of Sciences, Budapest. Did military service during the World War I. Curator of the Zoological Dept of the Hungarian National Museum. Founder of the Chair of Zoosystematics of the L. Eötvös University of Sciences.
